Orange Cream French Toast Overnight Casserole

Are you looking for the perfect recipe to make for your Spring Brunch? Whether it’s Easter, Passover or just because brunch, you have to include Orange Cream French Toast Overnight Casserole!

I love orange marmalade! It is by far my favorite jam.  I don’t know if it’s because I loved Paddington Bear so much as a girl or what.  I just know that I love it!  With this love in mind I wanted to create a breakfast that the most picky of eaters would die over.  I am sure not many 5 year olds are dying to put orange marmalade on their toast any time soon.  I can guarantee that once they taste this Orange Cream French Toast Overnight Casserole, they will be life long lovers just like me!

If you have made overnight french toast recipes in the past then you are familiar with the process.  I can tell you that although the process might be the same, that is where the similarities end.  This casserole is creamier, sweeter and tastier than any other that you have made in the past.  Remember the name is Orange Cream French Toast Overnight Casserole.

So what makes it so creamy you ask.  I am sure you are thinking oh I am sure it’s just cream cheese like all the other recipes out there.  Well you would be only half right.  There is indeed cream cheese, but what takes this recipe over the top and creates the cream cheese taste explosion?

Mascarpone! Yes you read that right. Mascarpone.  The king of all creamy style cheese.  Decadent, rich, smooth, slightly sweet Mascarpone!  I love this cheese so much.  If you are unfamiliar with the name, this is the base of what makes tiramisu so very very good!  Add that to cream cheese and you have the ultimate in creamy cheesy goodness!

How do you like my action shots? I love the way powdered sugar comes out of the sifter.  It’s like a magical little snowstorm.  I also think that it’s the perfect topping to all things sweet breakfast!  This recipe is so very perfect for Spring related Brunches, Ladies Luncheons, Bridal and Baby Showers or just because you love your family!

As easy as any overnight casserole recipe, but the taste is far far superior!  Orange Cream French Toast Overnight Casserole is truly the best I have ever made on this blog.  And I really  love all my other recipes too! I can’t wait for the next time I get a chance to make this.  How about tomorrow morning? Sounds good to me!
