Ravioli Lasagna Casserole

I am all about easy meals for busy weeknights.  It’s basically the whole theme of my blog.  Our lives are filled with so much to do.  Technology was supposed to make our lives easier, but our time is occupied more now than ever before. That is why I focus so heavily on easy, quick and tasty recipes.  If my family loves it and I loved making it then guess what?  So will you!   This Ravioli Lasagna Casserole is no exception.  In 30 min you can have an amazing meal hot and ready for dinner!

Does your family love cheese? Mine sure does!  My hubby calls me a mouse I love cheese so much.  The great thing about casseroles, is that you can never put too much cheese in them.  So when you are layering this casserole up don’t hold back!

This is almost a one pot dish.  You need to cook up the Italian sausage first.  If you swap out the sausage for pepperoni then one pot it is!

So you may be asking yourself how can this amazing casserole be ready in 30 minutes?  The secret is refrigerated fresh pasta!  There a few brands that make this.  No boiling required.  Since they are fresh and soft and not dried and hard the pasta cooks easily in the tomato sauce in the oven.

You can double, triple, or even quadruple this recipe.  It can be customized to your families tastes also.  You are in control!  This recipe makes an 8×10 baking dish.  There are only 3 of us and I am trying to cook just the right amount and not have so many leftovers.  Cooking for a crowd is easy.  It’s really hard to cook smaller batches.  At least for me.

Since I made this a couple weeks ago the boys has asked me to remake it like 10,000 times! Maybe if they are good I’ll whip it up this weekend.  Make Ravioli Lasagna Casserole tonight!

  • 2 packages of fresh ravioli of any flavor that you choose {found in the deli refrigerated section}
  • 1/2 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb of Italian sausage links
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese


  1. in a skillet cook the Italian sausage links {they don’t need to be cooked 100% they will finish cooking in the oven}
  2. preheat oven to 350
  3. slice the links
  4. in a baking dish about 8×10 or larger if doubling recipe
  5. mix both cheeses together
  6. spread about 3-5 tablespoons of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the dish
  7. place a layer of ravioli
  8. then the sausage
  9. then more spaghetti sauce
  10. then cheese
  11. repeat these same layers until dish is full and making sure to end with cheese on top
  12. cover with foil and bake for 25 min
  13. remove foil and bake for 5 more
  14. serve hot and enjoy!
